On Feb. 03, 2008, after we started planning the benefit, Pastor Brian’s home was destroyed by fire leaving him, his partner Nathan and their beloved cats homeless. Brian and Nathan are currently staying a small apartment with a very dear friend and they’re trying to find a temporary home, for at least two years, while the insurance is sorted out and their home can be rebuilt. They are looking for a cat friendly home, a house or town house, not too far from the DTES as Brian needs to be close to the community he serves.
