Hear the Hunger

We have just partnered with a great organization called Give Meaning, they provide free online fundraising pages to over 1200 different initiatives around the world. Basically, they handle collecting of donations on behalf of charities, eliminating what can often be an expensive and time consuming, yet vitally important part of the fund raising process. This makes giving easy and convient, as well as meaning more money directly to LUMS, as Give Meaning does not charge anything for this service.

What they do ask, and THIS IS THE EASY PART

is to ensure that this is a viable proposition, with lots of community support
they require our proposal to receive 100 votes.

2) you’ll be required to give your email, but nothing else, you are just voting on the Hear the Hunger proposal, and helping us secure the opportunity to easily collect donations online, for zero cost, meaning more for LUMS, meaning more for those in the DTES who didn’t eat today. It’s that simple really.

3) Click on the “Vote Now” button. (Most important part)

4) Be proud of yourself, you’ve already started to Be the Change. We find this usually makes one a little excited, and energized, if this is the case, why not tell a couple friends while your at it. You’ll find an easy way to do this on the site.
